Many are familiar with how a dictionary works….
Definition: a usually molded or dipped mass of wax or tallow containing a wick that may be burned (as to give light, heat, or scent or for celebration or votive purposes).
Definition: a candelabra with seven or nine lights that is used in Jewish worship
Pronunciation: ˈwər-shəp or ˈwȯr-shəp
Definition: reverence offered a divine being or supernatural power; also : an act of expressing such reverence.
So I must ask a simple question….
Why have people changed Father’s name into a form that they believe is a pronunciation instead of actually using His name YHWH?
Pronunciation: the inhale and exhale of the breath
Definition: I AM, TO BE, hayah, H1961, your Father
One can search the scrolls and the stones. One can look at the Pictorial, Paleo and Modern Hebrew and even English. And one can easily see that Father’s name is but only 4 characters, YHWH.
Being we don’t say kandel for candle, or warshep for worship. Why then are so many people changing His name to Yahuah or Yahwah, instead of using Father’s actual name YHWH?
This is thin ice to travel upon…
Thou shalt not take the name of YHWH thy Elohim in vain;
for YHWH WILL NOT hold him guiltless
that taketh his name in vain.
Vain: H7723 – shav’
emptiness, vanity, falsehood, emptiness of speech, ravage, devastation, ruin, waste.
To use anything other than YHWH’s name, the 4 characters. Is to take His name in vain. To change His name is no different than replacing His name with a false version such as Yahweh.
Take this to heart people…
show YHWH where your heart truly is, with Him.
And use His proper name as He instructs.
